Jan/Feb’s book is Close to Famous by Joan Bauer!
Close to Famous is a story about a girl named Foster Mcfee. Foster dreams of having her own cooking show someday and Foster’s mother, Rayka, wants to be a headliner instead of a backup singer. But there lives are changed when in the middle of the night they leave Memphis and end up in Culpepper. In the tiny town of Culpepper, it seems like everyone has a dream but nobody is even close to famous.

I would just like to say that its found in the YA section at the library but the copy that I purcused says Ages 8 and up
